Rancho Avellanas
Goat Farm Tour & Artisan Cheese Experience
Location & Farm Type: A small, 20‑hectare goat farm near Playa Avellanas, owned and operated by Carlos and Hilda Carranza. They've been farming for 30+ years and making artisanal goat cheese and yogurt for 10+ years.
Philosophy: The goats roam freely on pasture grown on-site. The farm runs on solar power and composts goat waste for fertilizer—no antibiotics or preservatives used. Rancho Avellanas
Products: Creamy chèvre, Greek yogurt, Pinilla and Gouda-style cheeses, all made with pasture-fed goat milk produced on the farm.
The Matriarch

Cabrambert & Honey
Our handcrafted Cabrambert cheese rests on sourdough bread, finished with local honey and fresh rosemary — a celebration of flavor, patience, and place.
