A Gourmet Heritage from Provence since 1885
Established in Ollioules in 1885, Maison Jonquier embodies the alliance between tradition and artisanal excellence. The story began with Louis Jonquier, a master candle-maker, who had to reinvent himself with the arrival of electricity. With the help of a pharmacist friend, he created his own nougat recipe, crafted from the finest ingredients of the Provençal terroir: honey from Provence, almonds, and egg whites. This savoir-faire, passed down from generation to generation, is now carried on by the sixth generation of the family, who continue this gourmet adventure with passion.
Every confection produced in the workshop reflects the authenticity of a preserved gastronomic heritage from Provence. Here, everything is handmade, following time-honored gestures, in full respect of tradition.
